Autumn/Winter 2008 Footwear at Scotts - Part II
Nicholas Deakins
We’ve recently taken delivery of our second colourway of Millhouse (Coffee), and Deakins’ full kids autumn / winter 08 range. Top one lads… Yorkshire’s finest! There are four shoes in the kids range, all in black: Chow is a Tom-esque round toed ankle boot for £50, Spinner is a Rhin-esque mudguard boot with a 3m reflective stripe on the ankle for £55, Kain is a Rhin-esque mudguard boot with ‘Deakins’ embossed side panels for £55.
Fred Perry
The final Fred Perry trainer for the season is available in white/forest with red pin punch laces and a huge stitched Laurel on the side.
Supreme Being
Interesting… Very cool… We are very excited about these bad boys! We’ve a number of new versions of Supreme Being Slab… All designed exclusively for and by Scotts. We’ve a white vulcanised sole unit, with a black perfed upper (Paul Smith meets SB), very clean and looks great with indigo denims. There’s one with a yellow sole unit with a white perfed upper (Adidas Forest Hills meets Supreme Being). Next is a white unit, white upper, only using real crocodile skin panels on the side, it looks exquisite.
Then we have three ice cream influenced colourways. Blue with pink laces and a white sole, yellow with blue laces and a white sole, green with blue laces and a white sole, and finally, a white soles white upper with multi-coloured (CMYK) leather patches on the side.
Henri Lloyd
Them boys at Henri Lloyd have also come up with a couple of good ‘uns… Steed Boot in Black is almost identical to Stud II, but a boot version, with a strange squiggle of fabric on the side panel, Henri Lloyd embossed laurel on the heel. There’s also a strap shoe version in black. Finally is Knighton boot in back and brown, which is a very Nicholas Deakins looking moccasin hiker boot, this boot has legs!
